Looking for a program to convert CDs to MP3

I started ripping my CD collection to my harddrive, since I just bought an MP3 player. I have over 200 CDs, and have ripped about half of them already by using Windows Media Player.

I loaded some of the files onto my MP3 player, and it would not play them. Turns out, it will only play them if they are in MP3 format (instead of WMA-which Windows Media Player had converted them to)

So, does anyone know of a program that will either:
1) Convert the WMA files to MP3 OR
2) Allow me to rip the CDs again, but to MP3 Format. I would prefer a program that would physically look up the CD information, and create a folder for the artist, and list the tracks by author and name..

I'm looking for a program that is FREE and will do this, but I will pay a little if needed. Any ideas what can work in this situation?

Go into windows media players settings, and under the "Rip" tab you can set it to MP3.

very simple. All you hvae to do is click burn. MP3 quality is subpar, as 192 from itunes sounds closer to something like 160, but its simple.

google search lame mp3 acm....you should find something that'll allow you to rip to mp3 in WMP. Anyway, I would recommend ripping to WMA-lossless anyway (or whatever other lossless you like) and then transcoding.
