Looking for a program that will record cpu temperatures to a file

I apologize if this has already been posted about 12 billion times, but I've driven myself up the damn wall looking for a program that will simply record cpu temperatures to a log file. I've found more than enough programs that are seemingly more willing to graphically display the temperatures as a hobo humping a steak than do this task. Can anyone please suggest a program that WOULD output temperatures to a log file? Thank you for your time.

NOTE: I'm running an AMD X2 4600 S939

A program called core temp will output to a log that you can import with excel.

Thank you for the response! I have Core Temp v0.95, but unfortunately it is wildly inaccurate in under-reporting the correct temperatures of my cpu. )=

did you try 0.94?
