Criteria:

1)Must be easy to use.

2)Must have a fast learning curve.

3)Cheap or free.

4)Capable

That being said I am planning to learn HTML, but that takes a little longer than a day or two and I need to make a website NOW. 😉

Also if someone can recommend domain that will allow me to host a site for free (or cheap, ending in .com or .net) and software for uploading... Thank you in advance.

I use Microsoft Word for creating web sites.
It is not fee. But, if you have it already, .....

I use my high-speed internet provider, which gives me a 5-MB space for free, to host my site. I pay for high-speed internet. But, I don't pay any more to use the 5MB space.

To upload my web site, I open an ftp address provided by the internet service provider and enter my ID and password and just copy the html file and corresponding folder to it and I am done.
