looking for a program for me to type text into and have what I type come out the speakers

I am trying to find a program that I can type like "Hello" into and then have the computer say "Hello" nothing real fancy just a free program to use

No there was a program that I had a while back that you could like change the speed and tone of the voice.

just google text to sound or something.

In Windows XP: go to your Control Panel, then double click on the icon that says Speech. Go to the Text to Speech tab, and type in what you want in the "Use the following text to preview the voice:", et voila.

Anyone know of any other programs? The one I used to have had a lot of presets (Frog, White Male, Black Male, Mexican Male, Helium) but then it also had a lot of different settings you could customize.
