Alright gals and gentlemen, I'm in the market for a lightweight set of Hair Styling tools. (dryer, scissors, and whatever else comes in such a kit). My mom has some wrist problems wielding the current heavy stuff so I wanted to get her an upgrdae. If anyone has any information on brands or actual kits as I'm looking for, please chime in.

Thanks for your help.

Professional stuff is only sold at salons or salon supply stores. Your best bet is to visit local salons or a supply store, which may request a professional membership card.

Professional stuff is extremely expensive.

Hmm I wonder if the stuff my mom current has was purchased at her salon. When you say expensive, what kind of price are we looking at?

In case I would need a membership card, I can always have my mom come with me and just buy it along with her. Though I would like it to be a surprise :D

bump. Any more input on this guys? I'd like to research a brand and order this. I might need to resort to my mom if I can't get more info.

I know that a pair of good scissors will run over $100 and the best ones are made in Germany or Japan. Look up Sally Beauty supply I think it?s a national chain.
