I'll be as specific as possible to maximize your help.
My goal is to prevent a specific program (e.g. program.exe) from running IN ANY WAY. I don't want it to be runnable on startup, by double-clicking, from a batch script, by another process, etc.
I'm not a dummy, I know how to control what auto-runs when I turn on my PC. This is different - I need some kind of process blocker, a "process firewall" if you will.
This will enable me to fight spyware and other junk much more easily, where a pair of sh*twares is starting each other, not letting you kill or delete the other instance. Please help.
P.S. I'm using Windows XP on FAT32, and the Local Security Policy doesn't seem to work for this.
