looking for a print mode that will save some ink

Hi, i have a Canon BJC-4200 printer..

now i am looking for a mode that can print thousands of pages but still using "less" ink.
the reason i say "less" is one day i see a pamphlet. It has color. but it is kinda "whity".
if u see this from far enough, u will think there is a "plastic" on top. if u are close enough, u will definity know that the printer is saving u the ink and use less color.

i know it isn't because it is running out of ink. it is a mode/setting that allows u to do tons of printing(don't have to be that detail)

thanks

The Canon BJC-4xxx series know three print qualities - High (very slow, weaving lines to produce color prints without stripes), Normal, and Draft. In Draft mode, every other drop of ink is left out, saving ink, and accelerating the printout more.

Your Windows driver should allow you to choose it, but ONLY if you choose "Normal Paper" for the media. On higher quality media, these printers refuse to do Draft. Doesn't make sense anyway, or does it?

regards, Peter
