what you need is 600W or higher powersupply. Um. At which point, both computers will either be on or off at the same time.

uh, you'd have to make one yourself, since anyone doing so risks destroying the powersupply and both motherboards.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to do this?

its just for research
not full scale systems
small systems that dont suck up power
PSU is capable of doing this- just need a splitter

interesting.. you were worrying me for a while... can you permanently damage a component by not sending it enough juice???

There is some flaw in that....otherwise only one lightbulb in your town would light up :)

Anyways, your best bet is to make one yourself. If you go to pccables.com you can get a couple ATX extentions & then solder them together to make a Y-cable. You might have issues with the power on & power good cables, I'm not sure if you would split them, or just have them go to one MB or the other or what.
