Ok, there's got to be someone who knows someone who knows someone etc...

I'm starting a new job in Mountain VIew, and looking for either a decently priced studio or one bedroom place, or a medium sized room for rent.

I'm hoping to keep the rent at $1300 or lower for an apt. and sub 1000's for the room.

I currently live in SF City, and even with flex hrs., I'm looking to increase my monthly take-home pay.

help?
know someone moving out who wouldn't mind a 'roommate'?

thanks.

Heh, you and god knows how many other people :) I can't help you, but maybe someone else can, I know how rough it is to get an affordable joint in the bay.

I live by the bay and it is pretty easy to find a place. You should be more specific in the thread title as to which bay you are refering to.

I'd assume he's looking for a place near mountain view. Milpitas is nice I heard :) Lived there all my life, don't know who much an apartment is though.

He is talking about the San Francisco Bay Area. Mountain View is on the southern part of the bay.

ya Milpitas is a nice area... although Cisco's taking up a huge plot of land near the 237 btwn the 680 and 880 =P try checking online at places like rent.net and stuff I suppose... I don't think prices are gonna be that cheap considering its Silicon Valley though =\
