I was wondering if there are any personal organizers (them little things that only hold names, numbers, addresses, etc...) that can be connected to a computer and can then download the address book from Outlook express. I know that you can just get any old organizer and punch in the information manually, but it would be easier if I could just plug it into the computer, click a button, and *poof* all my addresses are uploaded.

If such a thing does exist I need it to be small and skinny (maybe as thick as a cd case and about half as wide).

sohcrates...

Forgive my ignorance, but exactly how big is a palm pilot? Isn't it about as big as a graphing calculator? That might be a little too big. This device isn't for me, it's for my uncle. He wants something that he can just pick up, toss it in his pocket, and go about his business.

you are forgiven :)

well, my palm is about 3 inches wide, 5 inches long, and 1/2 inch thick.

but now that i re-read your post, i see that you might be looking for something a little less complicated (and perhaps cheaper). unfortunately, i do not know of any cheaper handelds that allow computer syc - ups. you can get a palm m100 for like 100 bucks these days, maybe less. which isn't too bad at all.
