You're welcome but I can't take credit for it as I didn't recommend it first :)

I love my CostCo Amex because of no annual fee, doubles as my CostCo membership card, free 1 year extended warranty and 90 day return policy.

Best of all 3% for eating at restaurants including fast food and casual dining.

This is the card you want

Stupid question: Is that card costco logo'ed at all?

Yes there is a very small (maybe 1"x1") CostCo logo on the back bottom next to your CostCo membership account number.

Unfortunately the nearest costco is about 110 miles away. :(

I'm pretty sure that paying for a costco membership would negate the savings on eating out for me :(

APR is meaningless is you pay off your bill in full every month.

The Amex Blue Cash is probably one of the best cash back cards left standing that isn't expected to have its program cut soon. HSBC and a few other less known banks still have 5% cards, but I don't expect them to last. Amex also isn't accepted everywhere. Visa basically equals Mastercard, but I have heard of one or two places (in my whole life) that would only take visa.

DO NOT GET THE CITI DIVIDEND PLATINUM. That card will SUCK effectve 2 weeks from now.

Oh, and fatwallet offers like $15 or $25 cash back if you get accepted for an amex through them

Looking for APR, since I don't buy that much. If by some reason I get a month where I can't pay in full I'd prefer not to see a bunch of interest racked on of course. It's only a card to be used in place of drawing $$ from my bank account. The plan is to keep it to spending , pay off at the EOM. I suppose a lot of them would fit thatbill really though, after reading this.

If you're planning to pay off from month to month, I would suggest Amex charge card. I currently have a Discover card with which I keep for a 0% for life of balance transfer that is being paid off, a Citibank Driver's edge for emergencies only, and an Amex charge that I use for ALL purchases. I collect the points and have some piece of mind knowing that I'm insured and can return anything I purchase.

Ditching my Chase MasterCard soon. Had it for years, paying the thing off and not using it after that. Unless they lower their ridiculous interest rates. It used to be my lowest interest rate card, now it is my highest.
