what would you guys suggest?
he's only going to be recording music, he's not a gamer by any means.

all i know of are gaming boards:eek:

anything??

I think any machine all the way back to a late PIII would be ok just for recording music (unless you mean mixing as well, I've no idea how intensive that is). Just pick up whatever's cheapest on Newegg

Is that really audiophile grade? hell, i wouldn't mind picking up one myself, if its better than the X-fi extreme music card i have
