I'm looking for a small, light, Bluetooth enabled phone. I don't need any other features like an mp3 player and such but if the phone comes with it, fine.
It seems like a RAZR fits my needs (although I haven't great things about them/break easily) but I would like some opinions before I made any decisions.

Thanks

actually verizon is supposed to carry the choclate flip phone now. It's either that or the razr (or the rediculously over priced, ugly krzr). Those are really the only decent phones currently offered by verizon. If you want to go for a slightly older phone, you could search ebay or a higher end v-series phone (v600, v700, etc.) or an E-815.

I'd reccomend my Q, but I highly doubt you want or need any of it's features.

I'm curious as to his budget, and how long of a contract he will purchase. The VX8600 is a bit pricey if I remember correctly.

Looks like I'll be getting a RAZR. The VX8600 is nice but it has extra features I don't need (mp3 player) and a higher cost so the RAZR seems like a better deal. The Q is great but I definitely do not have the need for it

I have a razr, I like it fine but the interface is pure sh!t. and it's an old model phone, I'd get the krzr or even the flip chocolate because the interface is better and even if you don't need the features they're a good phone.

UPDATE: I went with the LG VX8600, great compact phone which doesn't seem flimsy like the RAZR. Plus I got it for $30 after the $50 rebate and a $50 phone allowance from Verizon I didn't know about :D

I have a $100 credit towards a new phone but frankly aside from the too-expensive Q I don't see anything tempting enough to get me to replace my E815... plus I don't feel like re-upping for another two years in case a better deal comes up.

I'm in the same situation. (I have an e815 also) but my wife has been bugging me for a new phone all week since she found out about the new every two plan.

So if she gets a new phone, my contract is extended for another two years anyways. I guess I could always wait and get a new phone later.

I just upgraded my e815 to a krzr....only reason is I'm saving $30 month on my plan now so i figured it was worth the $100 cost to buy the krzr since I like the look/feel, and hate the razr.

My wife has the chocolate as well and she loves it. She used to have the razr on cingular (we switched because IMHO, Cingular's network sucks). The user interface that Motorola puts on those is horrible. The Q isn't a bad phone either but I'm also more used to the functionality of the treo (The Q doesn't have my notes program)

I don't know because I have never used the e815 and the RAZR for more than a few minutes. The reception is a lot better than my old phone (Kyocera Slider) though
