I hate outlook express and I don't use nutscrape aggrivator...
I use Eudora Light for email. I love it because it's nice and simple it does Email and nothing else, it doesn't try to be a swiss army knife, it's an email program, nothing more, nothing less, it's perfect (it's also free ;)).

I'm looking for something along the same lines for a newsgroup reader, just something very small and simple that will run on Win98SE/2k and knows how to read newsgroups off of a specificied news server and doesn't do anything else. I don't want it to schedule my appointments for me, check my email, have a mini-browser built in to browse while I'm newsgrouping, I don't want it to shave me or cook my meals...I want it to read newsgroups...nice and simple...to many buttons aggrivate me :D (truth is I just don't like useless bloatware).

Anwyays, anyone have an suggestions? Preferably free..but doesn't have to be...

Agent isn't lite, but in a default "keep nothing" configuration, it isn't that bad. The contents of my \Agent directory minus the \Data directory where the porn^H^H^H^Hdownloads are kept is just under 3 Mb. I'd say it's worth a shot.
