Hi, I'm interested in getting an AMD chip and would like to learn more about their features and chipsets. In particular, I'm interested in the 133A. Could anyone point out a good primer site? Also, what's up with 266 MHZ Tbirds vs 200 Tbirds. I don't get that. Does that mean you can't have a FSB of 266 with a 200 TBIRD? So, the 133A I would get would be useless?

TIA

Id say read some 133a mobo reveiws first their everywhere and will cover most of your questions. The 133a is the most recent chipset and is getting great reveiws. Also a regular Tbird can acheive those higher fsb speeds if you lower the multiplier and you can find alot in this forum on that. And for the second post, go for the amd even a duron kicks a p3 in most benchmarks. Alot of these peeps here are getting better than 1g p3 performance out of a overclocked duron 600. But do you homework first.

not your one stop for all but its a start and ive had good luck with their guides
