Looking for a new Video Capture Card

I just built a new rig (see sig) and I also added a Hauppage HVR 1800. this card does not play well with Ulead DVD or Vista 64. I talked to Hauppage and they do not know when things will change. So I am looking for another card. I found this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16815100014

and it seems like it would work. does anybody else have some suggestions? I do a lot of VHS to DVD and editing so it has to have analog and digital. I like Ulead but am open to another software. Nero is ok, right now I have the free version of Nero 7. PciE x1 would be nice but not mandatory. Thanks

Any chance you could switch to Vista 32? Or, use Linux to capture video and then throw it into the software you need?

hmmm... this might just bite me in the butt as well. I was about re-install my OS to Vista64 on my HTPC this weekend. But looks like their drivers don't work if you have 4GB or more RAM, which makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever. I can see if their own application didn't work, or something, but their "64 bit" drivers work fine on Vista 64, as long as you don't need to use memory addresses that are over 32bit?!? What kind of crap driver is that? That isn't a 64 bit driver, it is simply a 32 bit driver which fakes the OS signature to say it will works on Vista64.

yeah I do not understand why 4 gigs or more is causing a problem. Seems like with video editing, the more ram the better.
