There are a few new shows coming out that have some promise. I really like "Awake" so far, pretty cool premise and I've never seen it done before. (always a plus) There are some others but I can't think of them right now.

EDIT: Awake

That does look quite cool. Very Sliding Doors.

Probably looking more for a comedy.

Shit, I forgot to mention Dexter and Mad Men, up to date with them.

I also mention Walking Dead.

Shameless doesn't look like my sort of thing, and I couldn't get into breaking bad,

I'll give the others a look.

Hmm I could never get into it and it's now 9 series in, I'm not sure I want to start from the beginning.

its worth it

I'm not a big TV series fan. I hate TV series that you have to watch all the way from the start and Shameless is not one of those. I watched a couple episodes to have something to talk about with customers at work and ended up falling in love with it. The plot is great, the characters are awesome and there is at least one hot naked chick per episode.

I really think you would like the style of humor. You should be able to watch a trailer at www.sho.com

Give it a shot.

Problem is that the Manchester accents piss me off.

I'm sure it's OK, but I tried watching it in like 2005 and it just wasn't my thing, according to wikipedia it's now 110 episodes in, seems like a huge commitment for a program I didn't really like.

For sure. I saw about four episodes when it first came out and then didn't see it again until a few weeks ago. I watched those episodes again and now I'm about two episodes from catching up in season two. If you just watch it and don't study or do something else at the same time you will get into it pronto.

No way.

Are you talking about the Showtime series?

Last night I watched the pilot for Game of Thrones, and liked it, so I'll check out the next episode.

Yeah I forgot about that one... Hmm. Possibly, it would be the first of the genre that I would like though, so it's a bit of a risk.

I just watched Dollhouse again too, that was a good one. The episode
"Attic"
jumped the shark though.

I have netflix and watch it when I cant sleep at night...which is all the time. I watched three episodes of Lost some time after midnight this morning. Netflix is saving my sanity though, and I'm cruising down memory lane at the same time.
