I'm looking to use it for a Sony F717 and a JVC - GZ camcorder. Problem with my current tripod is that it's very jerky when I go from left to right and you can hear the noise on the recording. I'm looking for something that is smooth. The one I mentioned in my OP is cool because of the "built in" single-pod. I realize that Wolf/Ritz is not preferred by some, but they are around my area and I can see/test the tri/mono pod.

On the cheap end rather.
I don't think they make the equipment themselves but rather re-badge others. So you may get a re-badged Sigma.

They have a brick and mortar store, just not sure how many. The one they list on there sight is a Super Store located in NY.
