Hello! I was looking to upgrade my graphics card and was recommended ATI 4770 by people over on the Video forums. I have a 300W PSU with 14A on one rail and 8 on the other so I was told to upgrade my power supply too. Now I'm looking for a power supply which just gets me to run 4770. I'm not looking for a power supply to run 4870etc even in the future. I'm clueles to which Power Supply I should choose. How much Amperes do I require on the 12V line, etc

I'd look for something with 26+A.

Check out Antec Earthwatts 380W, Corsair CX400. BFG LS-450.

earthwatts 380 should be enough. any quality 350w+ should do it. antec, seasonic, sparkle, fsp, corsair, ocz...quite a few brands on newegg that would work fine.

happens to be on sale right now. you can get a few more watts for not much more money, but that is a VERY solid seasonic-made psu.
