Looking for a new motherboard. Suggestions?

Ok, let me start by saying that im pretty new to motherboards. I have very little knowledge about them but I wouldn't say that im computer illiterate.

Well, Im currently looking at the MSI-KT3 Ultra 2 (w/o raid) @ pricewatch for 49.95

I have built computer (not by me). Specs:

40 gig
20 gig slave
Raedon 9000
No sound (intergrated from last board)
AMD Duron (I forget the XP#)

What do you all think? Is this a good board? I read the review on it but most of its jargon. Is this board good fro the money?

If you give a suggestion, I need intergrated sound and nic (if possible) I would also like usb 2.0

I don't mind paying more for a better board but I don't want to exceed 100.00

With the chip your using this board would be fine... but let me ask why are you considering a board upgrade? Tell me that and I'll prolly tell you to upgrade something else first...

Durons are not that fast of a chip... depending on what board you have now you could prolly get yourself a $50 AMD XP processor and get a much better boost in performance.

Or pick up the Fry's dealie of the week, 2000+ OEM Athlon XP processor and ECS K7S6A Pro for ~($69).
