Looking for a new laptop for dad, want a good deal!

I might get him a mac, but if I wanted to get him a PC, I am looking for a good deal. All he does really is use office (word, excel), and use the internet. Probably looking at a 15 inch screen laptop.

Any deals you guys have come across?
 
If your looking for a good afordible option why even consider a mac?

If he is use to Windows and MS Office then a mac would be going in the wrong dirrection.

just start looking online at verious sites like Newegg. She whats availible and get an idea of the specs you want the laptop to have. Then you'll have an idea of what model you want to get. Then check other sites and stores for the best price.
 
theres generally a 399 deal or two from various stores like office depot or circuit city or best buy etc
