Looking for a new game to waste time on (RTS/RPG)

I think it's about time for me to find a new game to waste some time on. I just bought a laptop so I don't have much money to waste on games but I do still have a BB gift card. I think I can afford to buy 1 maybe 2 new games. I'm looking for something that I can play alone or over a lan with my Uncle. We both like RTS games like WarCraft 2, AOE, Lords of the Realm (anyone remember that one 😉 ), etc. We also like some easy to learn RPG games like Diablo/Diablo 2. It has to be something that can be played with 1 or 2 players over a LAN. There must be a 2 player co-op mode (a MUST). BTW, absolutely no FPS games.

I've been trying out a few demos and so far Dungeon Siege and Battle Realms look pretty good. What are some other games that might fit the bill? Any hot deals on any of them 😀 ?
 
Baldur's Gate 2, has both single player and multiplayer. It also happens to be (IMO ) the best RPG title for the PC ever. 🙂
 
Recent RTS Games = Stronghold (can build moats, siege weapons in towers, create death pits) and Warrior Kings (AOE with great graphics and some cool playing elements).

I don't know of any other RPG games like Diablo for you to play. Dungeon Siege is allright.
