I've been searching relentlessly for an animated background. It has to be from "the matrix," as in the moving numbers. All I found was a default green one that looks horrible when tiled. Does anyone have one that can be tiled and still look decent?

I used to have an animated matrix wallpaper... It also came along with a tool that would allow you to set a regular picture as the wallpaper, but falling code would show the picture by highlighting edges and colors and things. It was really neat, but I don't remember what it was called or where to find it.

Yeah I have the falling code Java applet, but I need a simple wallpaper for a background on a site. I saw a cool blue one, not green, but I can't find it. Anyone else?

Yes, it is. And that stupid lighter-shaded box exploding from the code is just stupid. I used to have that too but I got tired of it really quickly. Even with a GF4Ti4600, the image would bog down and skip, like, 7 frames per second with the box explosion. I duped it pretty quick.

Hmm more of an editorial comment here...animated backgrounds in websites are annoying as hell. Is there any particular reason why you feel a matrix wallpaper would be appropriate?

It's for a buddy on myspace.com He is trying to impress people with his(my) HTML CSS knowledge, and he insisted that I have a moving image.

Trying to impress someone by using a horrible policy for backgrounds is a step backwards. Background images for websites in general should be static and should not interfere in reading the text in any way.

Did you see the people on that site? Anything flashy will impress them, hehe. Besides, it's not my call; talking reason into him(Think's Intel is better for gaming than AMD) is pointless.
