Looking for a .MOV player

Just thought I'd ask, a quick Google turned up nothing. My dad's digital camera records video in .MOV, Quicktime. I hate quicktime, once you install it it screws with everything and makes itself the default and, well, just don't get me started. Is there a program that lets you play them? Thanks

I think its just quicktime. But this should really be in software, don't you think?
