Looking for a mouse that has a repeat feature

Topic says it all. Too much wear and tear comes from continually clicking through some various workloads

Having a adjustable timer for "clicks" would be a plus, but not required as long as it can keep spamming the stupid left mouse button withough killing my wrist.

You want the cursor to repeat what you just did automatically? I think this would require extra software.

Why don't you just script these repetative tasks BTW?

No I dont want it to repeat what I did automatically, I want to put my curser over something and just have it spam away. An older program that I have does not have a skip "insert page here" and the documents are no longer in support as the company went belly up. Rather instead of clicking away trying to get to page 1698 of a document from say page.... 210. I just want to put the mouse pointer over the next page button and keep spamming it till I am close to the page that I need to get to and stop it. I tried making scripts that will do it, a few macro's. But they just do not work with the program.

I searched and searched the web for a new program that does what this old program does, but they are in the $1,500 range through $2,000. Like hell if I am gunna pay that much when other then the goto this page feature dont work when the program itself minus that annoyance works perfectly. There are some other uses I can think of a repeat button other then that one program. I am just so utterly sick of the left mouse button I want very little to do with it. And I am certain there is a mouse with the repeat feature. I mean heck, I remember playing Nintendo as a teen ager and the NES Advantage had the repeat feature I am looking for. But that joystick wont work as a mouse, so I figured somewhere between now and then, a mouse had to have a repeat feature.
Other things I tried was newer game pads. They dont function at all with the program, and even if they did, I would still need to switch to the mouse. I just feel like throwing my mouse through the wall. Lol

Just automate clicking eh... well there are two ways. Open up the mouse and build a little circuit that sets off the right signals, or write/alter a mouse driver to do the same. I've never heard of a mouse or driver with this feature built in, obviously, or I wouldn't be suggesting making one.

Or you could actually buy a controller with the repeat feature and hook it up to the PC.

This old program you have sounds annoying - what does it do exactly?

It is a piece of software thats got legal laws from all 50 states, compiled them and allows you to see both laws (in state) next to cases that have been won outta state. Kinda like a huge database. How the company went belly up is questionable, it happened just a couple weeks after launch. Some say they did not make enough money, others say they were bought out and the program scrapped. But yeah it is annoying.

Opening up a mouse and modify it huh, never thought of that. What would I need to simulate me clicking the mouse button? I have tons of old mice around, some used, others new in box just collecting dust. Wont hurt just to mess around with the idea.
