Looking for a motherboard

I have been looking around and I can't seem to find a non-SLI mother board with X2 support that also has firewire built in.

In an ideal world I would find an ATX motherboard with Firewire built in, PCI express, X2 support and made by good company like MSI or Asus (just to name a few).

If anybody could find one I would love you for ever.

There are a lot of boards with firewire. I know the $120 DFI Ultra-D for one has it. Pretty much all 939 boards support X2s.

Try Epox. I got an Epox NF4 SLI for 125.

It doesn't have firewire coming straight off the board, but it does come with an adapter for two firewire slots. You just put it in a one of the case's card slots and hook it up to the connectors on the board. Works fine. (Also comes with two extra USBs. It's great.)

Thanks for the replies.

I was searching only on Newegg and non of the motherboards "They" say support X2 had them. But after reading up some more on some that newegg said did not support X2s I found a good MSI board with everything I wanted.

I went with the DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D and it supports my AMD X2 3800+ with no problems.

Only problem is that for whatever reason mine does not have the IEEE 1394 port on the back like shown in the pictures. 🙁
