Hello, I just bought some DDR2 ECC ram and Im looking for a socket 775 motherboard for me to use it with. Turns out that I thought it was just regular DDR2 ram but it won't fit into a normal DDR2 slot. Im supposing that its because its ECC? Anyway, heres the information on the memory I have:

HYS72T128420HFN-3S-A
1GB 2RX8 PC2-5300F-555-11-B0

Thanks for the helpful suggestions! Happy Holidays.

Hmmm okay, thanks.

Is there any possibility of getting a desktop motherboard that supports this memory?

No. AMD doesn't do FB at all, and Intel limit it to server/workstation chipsets.
