I am building another computer and am looking for a mid-tower ATX case that will give me sufficient room to work in and have at least a few of the following cavaets:
1) Thumbscrews
2) Removable cages (HD, PS, etc.)
3) Filtered intakes
4) Ample room inside
5) Aluminum construction

I use a Lian-Li PC-60 to house my primary computer and couldn't be happier with it. Although I wanted to see if anyone in the community could tip me off to a comparable case that would less expensive than the $99 newegg is currently charging for the Lian-Li.

If you really like Aluminum cases, the Cooler Master Wave Master from Geeks.com is a great deal at around $65. It's got a removable mobo tray, rear-insert PSU area, top USB/Firewire, front LEDs, and uses thumbscrews on a lot of the inner parts (like the PCI slots). The only big downside is the lack of 120mm fan holes, so if you want high airflow at a low sound level you'll have to drill out a 120mm hole in the side or top. Personally, I have one of these, and I plan to drill either another fan hole in the side to accomodate a 120mm fan.

The antec SLK3000B is also another good choice.

If you want more of a "gamer" look, the Raidmax X1 is good as well. I know someone who owns this case and the cooling options available on this case are excellent. It's also got a removable moto tray (not listed on many sites) and a front LCD that displays things like temperature.

996GT2: You coulda just said that it is I who owns the X-1.

OP: Raidmax X-1 is a good case to work with. Removable mobo tray is a great feature and the cooling is superior to the Wavemaster. However, I would recommend case without door if you plan on using a 120mm on the 5.25" bays like on my rig. (pic: http://img390.imageshack.us/img390/9696/pcpic26fq.jpg)
