I'm looking to upgrade my current (dying) CRT to LCD (probably 21").

But, because I do a fair bit of photography and other imaging I would like a reasonably decent screen.

Key specs:
DVI input
1600x1200 (or similar) native resolution
True 8 bit panel preferably with 10 bit FRC/dithering
True 10 (or more) bit internal signal processing/gamma correction
Gamma curve calibratable to 2.2 (Adobe RGB) and 1.4. Ideally quickly switchable between settings, but this isn't essential.

I'm less fussed about response time as I don't play many games - but I don't want something that has terrible ghosting.

I've seen the price for those 6-colour LED backlight screens from NEC, and they're just a bit out of my budget.

I was thinking about something like the Eizo S2100 or S2110W - as they do pretty much all of what I'm after.

Any experiences/recommendations?

What about the LaCie 320 or 321? I haven't seen any reviews of these so it's hard to know for sure.

The 321 lcd has a pretty comprehensive review at cnet.com. Seams like a very good professional lcd. The eizo nanos are more expensive than lacie's similar offerings, however, have better aesthetics IMO and more inputs and options i think. Lemme get that link for you...

EDIT: Here it is!
