Looking for a mic to attach to my headphones (HD 497)

Is there a mic that can be clipped to these headphones? Am looking for something cheap, quality is not a priority.
Thanks

UPDATE

Okey, I've been using the Zalman mic for a while now. It's good and it sounds clear, but it annoyes me how it's attached to the headphones cords. It looks very messy and it gets in my way when am just using the headphones. So I was wondering, are there any sleeves that could contain both the headphones and mic cords and make my life easier? I know they exist for PSU cords, but are there any thinner ones?
Thank you

Looks like a cool mic. Has anyone tried those?

I wanna make sure it works with my headphones before buying it.

edit: I wonder how long the mic cable is.

The solution I've seen to this problem is

1) buy a complete headset (I'm sure you don't wanna do that)
2) clip a little mic to your shirt
3) buy a crappy headset like as cheap as possible and wear it around ur nec and just have the mic pointing towards ur mouth and don't plug in the headphone portion

This mic could work with your Sennheisers.

Mic

The price is cheap enough.

is that stereo? :Q

What do you mean?

I just bought the Zalman mic, I hope it works well.
Will report back when I get it.

btw- I didn't buy it from that link, I got it for 9.94 shipped from xoxide (research always helps 🙂)

Theres a 3 pole connector (for two channels). Most mics ive seen have a 2-pole mono connector. can this mic record in stereo?

A vote for #3! 🙂
That's what I do, and it works great. Cheap, too.

Single stereo mikes are rare in this size - a stereo connector/adapter can make it mono - after all - the sound is from a single point - your mouth. Do you speak in stereo? 🙂

Just buy some normal sleeving and use some heathshrink at the ends.

www.performance-pcs.com
They have some.

Vouyer-Mods has it too, and they also have some very nice Cath lights on sale 😉 Might grab some of both... just so you aren't spending a huge amount on shipping.
