Looking for a logo-free case for my 15" MacBook Pro

So I've got a 15" MacBook Pro on it's way. I'd like something similar to Speck's snap-on case, but I don't want any logos on it. I'd be willing to go for a clear or black, or maybe semi-transparent grey. Basically, I don't want any bright, annoying colors.

Skins are nice, but they don't protect against dings.

So eBay has a few options, but most of them have an ugly cutout around the Apple logo. I don't want that... I'd rather not see the logo than to have a cutout.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance 🙂

Why not just get a low profile sleeve? I really like Booq's products.

Because sleeves only help when the laptop is stowed. They're also a pain in the butt to constantly install/remove.

my spec for the macbook pro 17 has no real logo's in black if there is any mention of spec its so dark you can't see. problem is the weight. i got the laptop for 6.6lb and it adds quite a heft to it. and it doesn't prevent massive dings its too flexible.

Yea after seeing them in person, it looks like the black Speck is my best bet. As for the weight, there's not much I can do about it. I just want to protect my $2200 machine, ya know?

Anyhow, the laptop should be getting here on Tuesday. Can't wait. I'll make a new thread 😛

Hey, I've been playing with a early 2011 15" with a high-rez glossy screen for almost a month now. Where ya been! =P

I'm looking for a sleeve or messenger bag too. I'm just not sure which one fits [well] and I don't want to spend a ton. Nor have it be too heavy. Sigh.
