Looking for a laptop

I was interested in the dell insipirion 8600 because of its features and price and its wide screen.
I have configured a dell insipirion 8600 with WSXGA+, 1.5 pentium M, 128 meg 9600? ati, 60gig HD (4200 rpm), dvd-cdrw, etc.

I was wondering if there is any notebook maker out there that sells a comparable notebook with the Athlon-64 DTR
I heard the battery life on this would be between 3-3.5 hours

Was looking to see if I could get a
15.4" wsxga screen. (1680x1080?)
Athlon 64 - DTR (any speed)
ram (at least 256)
40-60 gig HD
cdrw-dvd
and a 128 meg ati 9600/9700 video card.

thanks.

That dell sounds pretty nice. Personally I only recomend getting their latitude lines because I (along with many others) feel that they are built much better. However, I will tell you that that screan is amazing. I just was working on one 2 nights ago. Definitely splurge for a faster HDD if you can atleast 5400rpm (you will notice the difference if you were to upgrade). Other than that that looks pretty sweet. I would say it should get atleast 3hrs too!
