Looking for a laptop...any recommendations?

I wanna spend about 1k-1.5k. Looking for a reasonable laptop...i would like it to have a decent video card, and i'm not too picky about weight. I know my description is vague, but ive always used a tower PC, and i know next to nothing about notebooks.

I suspect that anything will be better than my pc with 1.5gb rams, amd 3400+, 6800GT card.
