A few people and I are planning a Hike of the Appalachian trial. 2 of the people in the group have been working in New Orleans building houses and such for a while. One of them took on rebuilding a nature trail in a local state park. The trail is almost complete and needs informational signs, some more gravel and grade work. The park also had an amphitheater that was completely destroyed, if possible that is what other funds would go to rebuilding. In the past the park has been used by schools as a field trip spot and when finished will be a great place for children and families to go to.
We want to use the hike to raise a little money to finish the nature trail.
right now all I am looking for is someone to host a website with a content management system, I was thinking wordpress but if you have a suggestion let me know.
the websites purpose now is to help get the word out, When we start the hike we will be posting trail journal entries when we go into town about once a week.
I do not have any experience with a cms, but do have experience building sites in html and css.
