Looking for a 'horizontal' binder!.?

Is there such a thing as a horizontal binder? As a firefighter I've tried to preserve our map books (they don't last long in a pumper). The maps available to us are 11 x 8 1/2 and not 8 1/2 x 11. The standard vertical (8 1/2 x11) binders do not work well with the maps.

If you know of a horizontal (11 x 8 1/2) binder exists or doesn't , please post. If available, I could also use some horizontal sheet protectors.

Tried that, every other page is upside down, they don't match up. The way the map is designed it doesn't work in a vertical binder.

So you want a horizontal binder but where the pages still turn like a normal book right to left? (rings on the short side of the page)

Like these?

I was thinking of something similar... like a ledger of some sort.
