For a few reasons. First of all, I am in college and do A LOT of walking, and as the weather gets rainier and colder my Doc Martens from suburbia just don't hold it.
I also need them for powerlifting. Right now I squat in Kenneth Cole shoes, but they won't pass @ a meet. I need to have a raised heel and a very, very tough sole, so basically regardless of the weight I put on it, the sole doesn't 'give' like athletic shoes do.
I need to have ankle support but would perfer them to not go much higher than that.
Anyone got any clues?
Key words being HIGH QUALITY.
