I am looking for a high performance firewire hub to compliment my PCMCIA IBM card.
I plan on doing some VHS to DVD converting using the Canopus 100 unit.
I also plan on ripping to a firewire harddrive.
I already have the Belkin USB 2.0 7 port hub and I love it's performance.
(It did get mixed reviews but mine works superbly.)
I've got 2 DVD+r drives and a usb harddrive hooked up to it.
I can have all devices running and burning with no glitches... continuous data flow to the burners.
Plus I've also fired off printjobs and scanned in docs that caused no glitches in the data flow.
(How can I tell that there were not glitches... the lights on the two burners always stayed orange (burning) at 4x speeds 🙂
Anyways, sorry I digressed there.....
I guess I'm looking for the firewire version of such a good hub.
Any help would be much appreciated.
