seeing how your a gamer faxon.. i would just throw everything in serial on one big loop with 2 large radiators.

Or wait.. are you a Cruncher also?
If your a cruncher, you want dual loops.
Also if your a cruncher, the best upgrade you can do is a board cooling.

Realized boards especially last longer, unless you do a OOPS.

Oops i think we derailed cursed thread by accident... cursed if u want removals on the water, let me know.

and to answer your first question i would honestly go with the mega shaddow.

You never know when they might have someone that knows computers take a look inside... even if its blingy if its cheap, you'll get that guy giving off a lot of bad words if he knows his stuff.

So i would never compromise performance over looks, unless i can get both.
Especially in regards to a client. It only means your thinking in regards for the client.

mostly cruncher now, so i would need a second pump i guess. i could just get a DDC for the cpu (whichever one is the quieter version) and toss a res top on it, and then retask my D5 to the GPUs. the problem is that the GA-EP45-UD3P has northbridge mounting holes which are a couple MM wider than the widest mounting holes made on any board block i have been able to find, and its REALLY pissing me off. i posted here and on XS about it a while back but i never got any replies from anyone about it, which was surprising considering how popular the UD3P has been for 775 overclocking. i have 2 of this board as well, which only makes the situation worse, since both systems are on water cooling and i cant cool either board :(. btw, measurements for the board are roughly 6.65cm from mounting hole to mounting hole diagonally, the largest spacing i could find on a block anywhere was 6.2, and with the proximity of one of the mounting holes to my apogee XT, it might be a really tight fit unless i get a block specifically designed for this board/block combo. i would also need a couple of VRM blocks of course, though i think those should be easier to find since it looks like they use at least semi-standard mounting hole spacing

ed: forgot to mention, i dont load my cpu to 100%, have it set to 75% in BOINC on both my systems, since it slows the hell out of my GPU clients otherwise. temps are actually better on my other comp lol. all my crunching clients i normally run are offline right now because my main comp doesnt have a computer ID yet, and my other one isnt running any SETI WUs cause the server is down anyway. under linpack i load @ 60c on the hottest core, 56 on the lowest, running it @ 4ghz now for 24/7 stability, 1.31vcore. if you know of a board block that fits my board, and have a recommendation for VRM cooling as well, i will pick up 2 sets of whatever kit will do the job as soon as i have the cash later this month, especially considering my track record with dead board :(
