Yeah, I saw one of those at Best Buy the other day, looks like a damn fine TV for the money.

I did too (one 7ear linked from pc connection), but at Circuit city (was $899). They are so nice looking to me and for that price......Sweet.

You can click "product comparison" on those web pages, but it wasn't too clear IMO. With the exception of looks, DVI/HDMI connec, dimensions, PIP, and weight, they are virtually the same lol. Thats what I got from the comparison anyways.

Which?

One of those Samsung SlimFits like 7earitup was asking about right above my post. I just went in to pick up a game and wasn't even interested in looking at TVs but they had one in that section hooked up directly to a PS2 and the picture quality really caught my eye.

The Xbox 360 in the highest mode of HDTV would have to look stunning then if the PS2 looked that good..Lol

Considering how few PS2 titles even support basic 480p, yes. Knowing the store they probably just plugged composite cables in and let the TV upscale it.

I just bought a Toshiba 30" flat CRT HDTV monitor 30HF85 for $620.99 from Sears after price match plus and 10% off coupon.

It looks great when playing DVD's, but has light scan lines on regular cable. Would be nice if I got an HD signal in this backwoods corner of Oregon. We were supposed to get digital cable in 2002 but Charter cancelled all expansions in our area after 9/11. Anyone have Direct TV with HD? How is the picture and price? I don't care about sports pack/Sunday ticket etc.

Nice

I've been looking for a 30 inch CRT to fit my entertainment center. Always liked the Samsung, but it was a few inches to wide. This one looks like it will be a perfect fit.

Anyone have one of these and how is it compared to the other 30 inch model?
