Looking for a HD utility...

About 6 months ago, I d/led a DOS based utility. It's written by one of the HD manufacturers, I can't remember its Seagate or Hitachi or WDC.

One of its function is to change the noise level setting of the HD. To be quiet by some performance hit or all performance but a little bit louder. Anyone has idea where can I find this utility?

You need to use whatever utility for your drive manufacturer. Whoever made your drive, will have the utility on their website.

Last time I used this program, it works for both Maxtor and Seagate HDs.
