Looking for a GYM...

I'm looking for a GYM in my area and I wanted to know people's opinions on 24 hour fitness. I already work out so I really doubt this will become a 'fling' type thing where I give up since working out makes me feel good and when I don't work out for a while I become fat, lazy and tired, kinda like the ATOT populace. The reason I'm looking for a gym is because my school gym is open can you guess it, only when school is in session. Well this presents a problem during the summer because then I become a lardass over the summer when I really don't want to be. So I'm wondering if I should just join 24 hour fitness or join a 'local gym'...

24 hours is nice because sometimes if you don't feel like drinking on a friday or something you can go to the GYM.

my school GYM was 24 hours, the one i'm at now closes at 8 pm and kinda sucks. I've had to miss a couple days at the GYM because of it.

How many threads have you created this morning?

Your search for a Gay Young Male should not be done in OT. At least not ATOT. Maybe on RROT. Rump Ranger Off Topic. Google it. (I'd imagine you'd get interesting results.

Wait, you think a gym is for gay people only? I've got three reasons for going to the gym.

1. Practical reasons, being fat and weak is a PITA because it makes organizing my room/moving furnature/moving sh1t in general a pain in the ass. It's difficult to wear just a shirt at the beach etc. when you've got that gut hanging out, also sitting at the computer is really uncomfortable when you're fat. You also are more likely to get your ass kicked as a weak person/fatty.

2. One word, 'Women'.

3. Health reasons.

"fat, lazy and tired, kinda like the ATOT populace"

Are you fat lazy and tired? If so, I feel bad for you, if not, then you shouldn't be offended by this statement as it wouldn't apply to you..

I looked for a gym, then I just bought the equipment and put it in the dining room. Open 24 hours... oddly enough.

I've been with 24 for 5 years now. It's not as upscale as lifetime, and some 24's are more about conversing with your friends, but I get in, do my thing, get out, always have, always will. Depends on your attitude towards lifting.
