Question Looking for a GTX 1650 Super that fans don't surge, revving randomly etc?

I'd suggest getting whatever GPU you want and then using something like MSI afterburner, set a custom fan curve so that it doesn't surge/act funny. IMO its best not to be at the mercy of whatever the OEM bios sets it to, regardless of GPU.

If not, a new generation of GPUs are trickling out.

You may be able to get a lot more value by waiting a bit.
New GPUs only seem to happen every 2-3 years now.

I can wait; just learning as I've read some of these GPUs won't be controlled enough by MSI afterburner. If there is a decent sale coming up I'd get one though; the EVGA looks good so far.

If you have enough ventilation in your case, you can try the Palit KalmX which is a passive card. Tested by igorlabs, it's quite decent.
