Looking for a GPU upgrade

looking to purchase a Newer GPU, and im confused on whats best for me and my PC. any advise? i do moderate gaming like skyrim,warhammer online,mass effect 3. i dont plan to overclock and looking for one around 100 bucks. any help? here are my PC specs.

Intel i3 2nd gen 2100 3.1ghz CPU 1155 socket
DDR3 corsair xms3 ram 6gigs installed

yeah 7750 or 7770 is about as good as gets around that price and even thouse are going to be over 100 bucks.

OP, I wonder why you have a 32bit OS. half of your ram is not even going to be able to be used and its silly at this point not to be running 64bit anyway.
 
well when i built the system it was my first build. I was dumb to think 32bit was a more stable OS. now i know i have windows 7 professional that came with the 32 bit and 64bit disk under one key. can i update to 64bit anytime now?

Not sure but you're probably better off reformatting anyway.
 
Thank you all for the input. Ill try to reformate my HDD to 64bit and use the graphics card info u all provided to get a new one.
 
Wish you asked this a few days ago. I just shipped out a Sapphire HD5850 with a Coolermaster Hyper TX3 HSF together to a friend for $100....and I'm paying shipping.

The key should work with either version.
 
Do i have to back up my system settings and programs to a external drive or what is the proccess to go threw?
 
ok updating after a few Q and A's did my graphics card,added windows 64 bit and a cpu cooler
