I am looking at building a new PC and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for a windowed Aluminum case.

I've been looking at this Thermaltake one. And this XS-Alien one. Does anyone know if the red accents on this case could be spray painted black?

Are these good, bad, loud?

Basically I'm looking for something fairly quiet, for a decent amount of gaming. I know about the Sonata, but that doesn't seem to be my thing.

I'm looking for a blue on black theme to the case. Blue LED's or cold cathodes set in a black case.

Would it be best to just buy a case then add the modifications myself? or buy a pre modded one like the XS- Alien above?

Thanks.

Sure, I'm aware of that, however, does anyone have experience with the two specific cases I listed above?

The tsunami looks nice (my second choice case) downside is that the fans indeed are loud according to a number of reviews. Another one I'd recommend (since lots of people here like it) is the Kingwin 424

Silverstone Temjin SST-TJ04W is $89 at monarch Link
Should be the same one as at newegg for $112. EDIT: But I would call to check. Quality case, has 120mm fan mount in rear I think.. Put on a fanmate to 7-volt it for quietness. SVC.com has 38x120 Panaflo. The window is a funky shape.

Trippy fan setup, nice window though. Bet the manta ray front would look cool with some lights.

EDIT again, yeah the KT-424 is cool. Extra beefy aluminum.
