Looking for a Good Universal Remote

Ausm

Lifer
I am sick of having 8 contollers laying around! I am looking for a good Universal remote that will support my Hometheater and my Tivo Series 2.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

TIA

Hands down the best universal remote I ever used was from Sony - I don't know the model. It works everything perfectly, including all functions on my RCA DirecTV box (which from my experience with other universals, is no small feat). The only downside? It cost nearly $2000. The upside? It came with a free HDTV.

This is a good site for remote reviews. I have the sony RM-AV3100. It works great at controlling everything I have, but it's just too big. The large size makes the remote almost impossible to operate with one hand. You can operate the hard buttons with one hand, but when it comes to the touch screen controls, it's a real challenge to position the remote so you can see the screen and press the buttons with the same hand.

I'm thinking about trying a logitech, but I've been reading post where people complain about how the logitech isn't as flexible in it's programming as people would like it to be.
