Hi, i am thinking that i may use my 17" LCD to watch TV.

which TV card should i get? I saw MSI TV@anywhere is kinda reasonable. for $50, but i haven't heard of this card before. and i don't know any specs.

want to know does most of the TV card has video IN, ? i may do some video editing, just for family so the quality doesn't have to be the best.

i want to get a TV card that can record, timer, hmmm.... actually i don't know what a TV card is suppose to have so... i am totally a dummy on TV card.

so please gimme some advices.

thanks

I have the MSI TV@nywhere Master. It is not bad at all. It is not the greatest either.

It has video in by way of Composite, S-video and coax. It also has stereo sound.

It does not have hardware mpeg encoding, so it is not as effecient as other cards at encoding.

WinDVD software included is not the greatest. PowerVCR seems much better.

I will be experimenting more with this card and software to see what it can and cannot do.

exclude what a software can do...

i can get the software i want online... i just need a good hardware itself.

anyways, i will get a better videocard like ati 9700p/9800p AIW or FX5900

my question again, what is the quality of the AIW card..??

will AIW perform as good as a TV card like MSI@anywhere Master?

thanks
