Hi - did a search for "DVD release" and "DVD dates", but found no returns.
I'd like to start building up my DVD collection, but I'm fairly militant about the versions that I buy. If given the choice between a standard edition and a special/collector's edition, I will always choose the latter.
With that said, I see that there are lots of movies available that appear to only have a normal/standard edition. I don't want to buy those unless I know that a special edition will probably not be made for that film. So is there a website out there that specializes in somehow obtaining such information?
EDIT - an example of why I'm looking for such a resource: the movie "Seven". At least 57 versions were released before the final, Super Duper Ultra Titanium Death Attack edition.
