Looking for a good mp3 player for my wife...

I am looking to get my wife a decent mp3 player without breaking the bank because she will only be using it to exercise with. I will end up programming/transferring/updating music to it for her. I have looked at the apple and creative products and I am at a standstill. I am planning on getting myself a large capacity player later this year, but want to get her one as well. Does anyone have any suggestions for a unit with a screen? I am looking to spend $150-$200 and it would have to be somewhat easy to use.

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Time is also of the essence, since her birthday is next week! ;-)

I'd have to say either a discount ipod mini 2gb model or a nano 2gb, Itunes is stupidly easy to use.

good luck

if she has a PDA (pocket PC or palm) you can just buy her a CF or SD card and load mp3 there.

I have been using my IPAQ for this for the past 2 years.

good luck.

Even execs at Microsoft prefer ipods to other brands.

I have a Zen Xtra myself, but I'm a software developer. Non-techies are more likely to be able to use and enjoy an ipod and itunes without a lot of hand-holding.

The first batch of ipod nanos have a manufacturing defect otherwise they would be perfect: no moving parts. But since they are fracked, get a mini or shuffle.
