looking for a good info resource for getting cd dupe jobs done

I was looking on Google at some of the duplication houses that offer CD/DVD duping. I started to look for some sort of user/review site for services like this. Since I've never heard of any of the companies that were offering dupping I'm a bit warry about just jumping in. Anyone here have any experince here? I'm going to be looking to have CD's duped for possible a month project. Looking for the full service, dup, silk screening, DVD jewel cases with color insert. Basically a professional level output (or close) With a decent turn around time, I figure if this is a monthly thing I'm going to be involved in, 2 1/2 weeks with about a week turn around plus a few days to get it shipped would be resonable. haha maybe not *shrug* Originally I was looking to get a robotic cd duper with a cd printer, but it looks like a big hassle, especially if you want to do a large number of cd's.

I just saw one that was saying $1.25 for a CD dup + 4 color silk screening + DVD case wit 4 color insert. This was for I believe 500 peices. Does that seems a little cheap for the quality they are claiming?
 
It's going to start off low, seeing how I'll have no client base. I'd probably have at least 250-500 done. I found Disc Maker They replicate as opposed to Duplicate. saying you get better results. Any truth to this? I'm thinking pressing would yield a quicker turn around (am I way off base?) They have some good prices and will direct ship to your customers, which is nice. But back to amount, like I said it's going to start fairly low. And if this catchs up, it could grow as big as I could make the customer base. Which would mean in the long run I might need a place that can do high volume with a short turn around time. Anyone know about discmakers? I really like this package
they offer 1.79 for full color cd in DVD box, shrink raped. That is in orders of 1,000.

really what I'd like is a place that will do small orders (500 or so) but also be able to handle big orders down the road. Since it's going to be a monthly deal, with production time and all that jazz, I'd need a week or so duplication tops. for 500 I'm sure that's no problem, but when you get into the thousands, maybe even 10's of thoughts (waaay down the road haha) I dunno if I'm asking for too much 🙂

would like to find 1 place now that's good and stick with em though.
