I'm looking for a good video card that can handle two monitors. I know that there are dvi cables that split into 2 vga adapters as well....so any card that can do that would work as well. I'm not sure what card to get, and i've been having problems finding information about some cards as to if they can handle the dual monitors if I were to hook up the 'Y' splitter. I don't have very much to spend unfortunately, probably $150 or less. thanks for any help.

The "Y" splitter days have long gone by, young Padawan. ;)

Everything but the most bargain-basement GhettoTech-brand cards will have two outputs onboard - usually one DVI and one VGA. A DVI-to-VGA convertor is included - and presto, dual monitors.

Far as card choices, what do you want to do with this dual-monitor setup? Game, CAD, 2D only?
